Vaginal Rejuvenation
What is vaginal rejuvenation?
Vaginal rejuvenation refers to multiple different female genital surgeries available to address personal preferences or concerns. This collection of surgeries can help a woman become more satisfied with how their genitals look and feel.
What types of female genital surgeries are there?
Options for vaginal rejuvination
Factors such as aging, pregnancy, childbirth and hormonal changes can contribute to changes in the genitals, sometimes causing dissatisfaction for some patients. Discuss your options with your plastic surgeon to determine the best treatment for you.
Vaginoplasty
Childbirth and aging can result in weakened and loose vaginal muscles. This can be uncomfortable and distressing, with possible sexual problems and bladder control issues. Transgender women seeking gender affirming surgery may also choose a vaginoplasty. This procedure can address these challenges, resulting in improved overall quality of life.
Labiaplasty
A labiaplasty is a surgical procedure that aims to reduce the size of the labia, which can become enlarged due to childbirth, aging and genetics. Many women with enlarged labia can experience difficulty exercising, urinary tract infections, sexual activity or other physical activity.
Hymenoplasty
Hymen repair surgery (hymenoplasty) is a surgical procedure designed to repair a torn hymen, or create a hymen that was not present.
Patients elect to have genital cosmetic surgeries for a number of personal reasons; whatever that is, our intention at Station L is for you to feel comfortable and at ease with your choice to have any type of vaginal rejuvenation surgery.
